The Best Vegan Bread Brands on the Market

Are you looking for vegan bread? Then you need to know which brands rank as the top contenders. That way, you can know you’re getting your hands on some delicious vegan bread that satisfies you every time.

Here’s my list of the top five best vegan bread brands on the market today:

1. Ezekiel

Ezekiel Bread is, without a doubt, the very best vegan bread brand on the market. The brand started in 1964 and has continued to put delicious, 100% vegan and organic bread options on grocery market shelves.

There are plenty of perks to going the Ezekiel route. Not only is the bread ridiculously tasty, but it contains sprouted grains – which are tremendously beneficial to one’s health. The bread also contains more nutrients than the average slice of bread, plus less sodium.

There are several yummy Ezekiel bread options on the market. But the brand doesn’t stop at bread loaves. They also have other bread-related items to munch on, including English muffins and tortillas.

Basically, Ezekiel has bread products for every situation, from morning pieces of toast to quesadillas for lunch.

2. Simple Kneads

Simple Kneads is a top-notch vegan bread brand that always satisfies. However, they’re not just great for the vegan crowd. Simple Kneads bread is also touted as being gluten-free and free of nine common allergies, resulting in bread that’s safe for just about everyone.

The company only offers four flavors of bread loaves, but we’re not complaining – they’re all delicious and nutritious.

Enjoy their flavorful sourdough or pumpernickel loaf, indulge in something sweet with their cinnamon raisin loaf, or up the nutritional content by tenfold opting for their scrumptious quinoa power grain loaf.

3. Dave’s Killer Bread

Dave’s Killer Bread is personally one of my favorite bread brands. I love the variety they have to offer, and everything tastes incredible. It is also 100% vegan-friendly.

Dave’s Killer Bread offers a wide selection of bread products, from their 21 Whole Grains and Seeds loaf (my favorite!) to the Thin-Sliced Powerseed. They also have other bread-related items, including bagels, English muffins, and hamburger buns.

The perk of going with Dave’s Killer Bread is that these loaves and products are known for being high in protein and fiber, which isn’t something you’d typically get from a loaf of bread. They’re also low in sugar, making them one of the best healthiest breads for weight loss

4. Arnold, Brownberry, and Oroweat

If you’re looking for a vegan bread brand that has endless options at an affordable price, look no further than Arnold (East Coast), Brownberry (Midwest), and Oroweat (West Coast).

Although this bread brand has three different names, one thing remains the same – delicious bread that’s safe for vegan consumption.

Enjoy the ever-popular Oatnut and Multigrain, indulge in something more decadent like the Buttermilk or Sweet Hawaiian, or munch on classics like White and Italian.

Arnold, Brownberry, and Oroweat have a bread loaf that’s right for every consumer!

5. Nature’s Own

Finally, we couldn’t get through the top five list without mentioning Nature’s Own.

I like Nature’s Own because it has a texture and tastes similar to “typical” bread you might’ve eaten as a child. So, if you’re looking for a little bit of nostalgia to go with your lunchtime soup and sandwich, consider Nature’s Own.

Be a bit careful with this brand, though. Not all of their bread is vegan-friendly. To play it safe, stick with the Original 100% Whole Wheat flavor.
