Summary
Costco’s Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Pie has been a staple in the pie-eating community for years, and it’s easy to see why. With an affordable price tag, plenty to share with loved ones, and an impossibly silky texture with tremendous pumpkin flavor, it’s a pie that shouldn’t be skipped.
Anyone who loves pumpkin pie needs to give the Costco Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Pie a try. It’s undeniably delectable and packs a significant pumpkin punch with every bite. Forget about baking your own during the upcoming holidays – snag a Costco pie and impress all of your family members!
What I Like: Price, smooth texture, great flavor, flaky and thin crust, comes with a resealable container.
What I Don’t Like: Lacks crunchiness.
When to buy Costco pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving?
Costco Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Pies sell like hot cakes (or should I say hot pies?). That said, the sooner you buy your pie, the better. It’s common for Costco to run out of their signature pumpkin pies a few or two before Thanksgiving. Stop by Costco at least three to five days before the holiday.
How long is Costco pumpkin pie sold?
Costco Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Pie is sold throughout the fall and winter holidays. That said, you can usually find it after September 1st, but not after December 31st.
Do Costco pumpkin pies need to be refrigerated?
Costco Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Pie must be stored in the refrigerator. This is because they do not contain any type of preservatives, like many store-bought pies. They also include many dairy products, which need to be chilled. Ensure it’s wrapped tightly when stored in the fridge.
I love eating pumpkin pie – and it doesn’t have to be a holiday for me to want to snag a bite.
As much as I love baking a fresh batch of pumpkin pie (especially cheesecake pumpkin pie – yum!), there is something so convenient about a pre-bought pie.
But I don’t just settle for any pumpkin pie.
When it comes to store-bought pumpkin pies, I fall in line with the masses and reach for Costco Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Pie every time.

Location in Costco Store
Finding Costco’s famous pie is a cinch. Just head back to the bakery section, and you’ll have no problem catching it. It’s right next to all the other delicious baked goodies by Costco, with an item number of 60809.
Price
Guys, I can’t say this enough – the price is fantastic.
The entire pie is a mere $5.99.
Yes, it’s true; you can get this delicious pie for just a few dollars and some change. You simply won’t find savings like this at typical bakeries, yet you get the same great taste.
Ease of Use/Store
The great thing about Costco Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Pie is there is absolutely no prep involved (unless you like heating your pumpkin pie). Simply pop the top open, grab a knife, and slice right into it. Serve it on a plate (with some whipped cream, if desired), and enjoy your yummy slice!
If you don’t gobble the entire pie up in one sitting, storing it is a cinch. Simply replace the top portion of the container, seal it, double-check that it’s sealed, and place it inside your refrigerator. So simple!
Taste
The taste is sensational.
A definite pumpkin flavor comes to the forefront with every bite. If you’re a pumpkin fanatic, this pie will definitely cure your pumpkin craving. My son, Pierce, thought it was the best pumpkin pie He had ever eaten!
Aside from the pumpkin flavor, I like how the crust is nice and flaky. It’s not too thick, either, so you don’t feel like you’re trying to put your knife through a thing of cardboard every time you go for a bite.
Now, I will say that I tend to enjoy a bit more texture with my desserts. However, seeing as how this is pumpkin pie, it’s not a significant issue. It’s so silky smooth you’ll hardly believe it!
Nutrition
The first ingredient in this pie is pumpkin, which is incredible! It’s followed by sugar (of course) and some other pie-related ingredients, such as eggs and flour.
Note that the pie contains wheat, eggs, and milk, so those with allergies to these ingredients will have to pass.
One slice of Costco Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Pie (1/12th of the pie) contains 310 calories, 11 grams of fat, 48 grams of carbohydrates, and 30 grams of sugar. It’s not exactly “healthy,” but it’s better than many other desserts out there!
Final Verdict
Costco Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Pie is a delicious dessert that tastes 100% homemade. If you want a delicious pumpkin pie that’s silky and bursting with pumpkin flavor without a hefty crust, this is a definite must-have.
